El best seller literario costarricense, novela escrita por José León Sánchez en 1968, narra los terribles acontecimientos ocurridos en la cárcel de San Lucas, isla ubicada en el Pacífico costarricense. En 2016, Teatro Espressivo decide llevar a las tablas esta relevante novela. La dramaturga Caridad Svich realizó una adaptación al teatro. Un elenco de experimentados actores da vida a esta obra, la cual se convierte en una profunda reflexión sobre el valor de la libertad. Presentada en Español. Compañía teatro: Teatro Espressivo.

La Isla De Los Hombres Solos (The Lonely Men’s Island), written in 1968 by José León Sánchez, is considered one of the bestselling Costa Rican literary novels of all time. The story narrates the events that occurred in the San Lucas prison on an island located off Costa Rica’s Pacific Coast. In 2016, Teatro Expressivo brought this relevant novel to the stage when playwright Caridad Svich made an adaptation for theater. A cast of experienced actors brings this work to life, which constitutes an intense reflection on the value of freedom. Presented in Spanish. Theatrical troupe: Teatro Espressivo.
