35th International Hispanic Theatre Fest: International Children’s Day

Miami-Dade County Auditorium and Teatro Avante present International Children’s Day. Join us for this free spectacular day-long event with arts & crafts, food, activities, theatre workshops and a performance for the whole family! International Children’s Day features the theatrical music show “Un Bosque Encantado” (An Enchanted Forest). See the full line-up for the day below:

Performance: An Enchanted Forest


“Un bosque encantado” es un proyecto de educación afectiva que busca conectar a padres y niños a través de los animales del bosque, que aparecen en forma de canción para sembrar en los corazones de las familias valores de vida y de conexión con la naturaleza, rindiendo un homenaje a los ritmos latinoamericanos, tales como joropo, cumbia y vallenato. Escrita y dirigida por Camila Rivera, Tatiana Samper & Daniel Roa. Dirección musical de Daniel Roa.

“An Enchanted Forest” is an emotional-education project that seeks to bring parents and children together by way of forest-dwelling animals, who appear here as a song that instills in the hearts of families the values of life and connection to nature, paying tribute to the rhythms of Latin America, such as joropo, cumbia and vallenato. Written & directed by Camila Rivera, Tatiana Samper & Daniel Roa. Musical direction by Daniel Roa.

This event is part of MDCA IRL: Summer and the Hot Theatre Summer Series. Tickets are free and open to the public, but an RSVP is required through Ticketmaster. The performance “Un Bosque Encantado” is presented in Spanish.
