Miami-Dade County Public Housing and Community Development (PHCD) Meeting

Miami-Dade Public Housing and Community Development (PHCD) is responsible for more than 9,000 units of public housing. PHCD support services include assisted living facilities for the elderly and self-sufficiency programs for tenants. PHCD replies on federal and state grant programs to fund programs. They work closely with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on public housing and, with the State of Florida, the development of affordable housing.
