Juan Torres Fajardo, AKA Juan Habichuela Nieto is a 28 year old guitarist and composer who belongs to the linage of one of the most important flamenco sagas. He is the grandson of Juan Carmona ‘Habichuela’, the undeniable maestro guitarist who passed away in 2016. At the age of 15 he was playing guitar accompanying Enrique Morente performing on the best stages in the World. Since then he has worked with great artists like Pitingo, Estrella Morente, Jose Enrique Morente, his uncle Antonio Carmona, Juan de Juan, Antonio Canales, Carlos Benavent and Jorge Pardo among others. He will be presenting new work at MDCA “Sentimientos de mi ser”. Juan is, without a doubt, a talent that can’t be missed… an outstanding contribution to the flamenco world.
