There are barrel barricades merging the 2 lane streets traveling East and West into 1 lane streets traveling East and West which is creating heavier than usual traffic and delays on Flagler Street. We strongly encourage all guests to leave home early and make necessary arrangements so that everyone arrives at our venue with ample time to park and be seated. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your attention and understanding as we make efforts to ease the arrival and departure of guests.\nBelow find directions:\n* Going West on Flagler Street – After passing NW 27th Avenue immediately merge into the right lane in front of NW 27th Court and continue forward. MDCA will be on your right.\n* Going East on Flagler Street – Make a left on NW 30th Avenue\, continue to NW 4th Street and make a right. Continue to NW 28th Avenue and make a right. Continue forward through the gate to arrive at the back entrance of MDCA parking lot.\n* Going South on NW 27th Ave – Turn right on W Flagler Street and immediately merge into the right lane in front of NW 27th Court and continue forward. DESCRIPTION:Loup Garou is an environmental performance that uses the Cajun werewolf myth to explore the deep interconnectedness between land and culture in Louisiana. Conceived and performed by native Louisianan Nick Slie\, it is part performance\, part ritual\, part howl to the world about southeast Louisiana’s plight. Every half hour\, Louisiana loses nearly a football field’s worth of coastal marshes to the Gulf of Mexico.  Land loss is ubiquitous\, occurring even in interior areas.  Six major hurricanes in the last four years have exacerbated an already dire situation.  In Louisiana\, so many cultural traditions and industries derive directly from relationship with the surrounding rich envirnonment. What will become of those traditions as the land that nurtures them.
