DESCRIPTION:brigid baker wholeproject\, Miami-Dade County Auditorium and Live Arts Miami present “GULF” on Friday\, May 9 and Saturday\, May 10\, 8:00 pm at the Lehman Theater at Miami Dade College North Campus.  \n“GULF\,” an evening of dance\, video and installation\, including the music of Gavin Bryars\, Sophia Gubaidulina\, and Jesse Montgomery. Known for her emotionally resonant\, multidisciplinary style\, Baker draws on light\, sound\, movement\, and human connection to explore the space between us—what separates\, and what binds. \n————————— \n \nThis performance is part of Miami-Dade County Auditorium’s Away From Home Series. Programming continues to thrive during this period of renovation through the Away From Home Series. The series consists of off-site performances presented at alternative venues with community partners\, ensuring that the magic of the performing arts continues to captivate audiences throughout this transition period. The Away From Home Series presents dance\, theatre\, and music performances that take place at a variety of South Florida facilities and cultural centers.
