DESCRIPTION:CCEMiami and Miami-Dade County Auditorium present FlamenGO 2024\, “El latir del Mantón\,” featuring the Paula Rodríguez Flamenco Company on Saturday\, May 11 at the Colony Theater. \nPaula Rodríguez Flamenco Company’s “El latir del Mantón” is a show where singing\, guitar and percussion accompany the dancer Paula Rodríguez on a sensory journey that only flamenco can create\, to turn this show into an hour of magic and genuinely Spanish art. Paula Rodríguez\, who won in 2021 the first prize in the modality of Desplante in the International Flamenco Festival of Cante de las Minas\, with a sublime Taranto is accompanied on Stage by the outstanding flamenco singer José Plantón Heredia “José del Calli”\, also winner in 2022 of the first prize of Seguirillas in the same festival. \n————————— \n \nThis performance is part of Miami-Dade County Auditorium’s Away From Home Series. Programming continues to thrive during this period of renovation through the Away From Home Series. The series consists of off-site performances presented at alternative venues with community partners\, ensuring that the magic of the performing arts continues to captivate audiences throughout this transition period. The Away From Home Series presents dance\, theatre\, and music performances that take place at a variety of South Florida facilities and cultural centers.
