SUMMARY:MDCA Away from Home: "Papier Maché" de Carlos Celdrán
DESCRIPTION:ARCA Images and Miami-Dade County Auditorium present the World Premiere of “Papier Maché” on August 1-11 at the Westchester Cultural Arts Center (WCAC). \n————————— \n \nThis performance is part of Miami-Dade County Auditorium’s Away From Home Series. SUMMARY:ARCA Images presenta “Sed en la Calle del Agua” de Nilo Cruz
\nThe play is set in a hospital. The painter\, the main character\, has fallen into a state of depression after losing her daughter to an illness and not having enough money to pay for the fuel needed to survive the New Jersey winter. The psychiatrist in charge of the case realizes that art is vital in this artist’s life and may be the only thing that can save her from her fatal state. Will art be able to put this painter’s life back on track? This is the theme of the play: art as a tool for salvation. Presented in Spanish with simultaneous audio translation in English. \nPlease note that this performance contains brief nudity and has been restricted to an audience of 14+ \n————————— \nPLEASE NOTE: Before attending\, please review our updated Health & Safety Measures for indoor performances at Miami-Dade County Auditorium.
