DESCRIPTION:FUNDarte and Miami-Dade County Auditorium present the live launch of the children’s songbook Color Caribe\, with an acoustic concert featuring Rita Rosa Ruesga\, Pavel Urkiza\, Inez Barlatier and acting by Leandro Peraza. \nThis performance is part of the Drive-Through Theatre Experience series. \nTickets are non-refundable. Tickets cannot be exchanged. There is no late seating.  \nCLICK HERE TO WATCH THE DIGITAL PERFORMANCE ON YOUTUBE\n————————— \nUpdated general admission tickets are available for this performance: $6 for children\, $12 for adults. \nGoodie bags are included in the children’s ticket admission for all those attending. These bags include the Color Caribe songbook\, mini hand sanitizers\, clappers and noise makers to participate during the drum circle\, and more. \nTo ensure the health of our patrons\, performers\, and staff\, Coronavirus (COVID 19) safety measures will be in place. When arriving at the Auditorium\, staff will guide you to your outdoor seat. Face masks or face coverings must be worn and please be sure to remain socially distanced at all time. Performance run time is approximately 30 minutes long. \nAs Miami-Dade County begins to reopen\, the Auditorium will continue to provide diverse and affordable arts experiences for residents and visitors. SUMMARY:Free Food Distribution
DESCRIPTION:Miami-Dade County Commissioner Eileen Higgins\, District 5 and the Miami-Dade County Parks\, Recreation\, and Open Spaces Department host a free drive-thru food distribution at Miami-Dade County Auditorium every Saturday. \nSeveral South Florida community groups have joined forces to create Adopt-a-Box\, a program that raises funds to purchase local and Florida-grown fruits and vegetables directly from our farmers who need help during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic. The produce purchased from the farms are assembled and distributed to families and individuals in need. This program is led by Redland Ahead\, Unity Groves\, and Taste of Redland. Adopt-A-Box distributes 800 20-pound family-sized boxes to Miami-Dade County residents. \nThe event is organized on a drive-thru\, first-come first-served basis. Recipients are required to wear masks\, remain in their vehicles\, and open their trunks when it is their turn in line to receive the food. DESCRIPTION:Miami-Dade County Auditorium and Dranoff International 2 Piano Foundation are pleased to present Cuba Symphonic featuring virtuoso pianists and Cuban brothers\, Orlay and Orlando Alonso\, in an immersive experience that places the audience at the center of the “Golden Era” of Cuban music and entertainment. This musical program features 1930s\, 40s and 50s Cuban classics from the popular and classical repertoire in arrangements for two pianos with the Symphony Orchestra. Equally talented\, The Alonso Brothers dazzle with their artistic exuberance and passionate expression. The program highlights a variety of Cuban styles such as Mambo\, Cha Cha\, Salsa\, Bolero\, Son\, Danzón\, and Conga\, and includes works by Celia Cruz\, Ernesto Lecuona\, Ignacio Cervantes\, Miguel Faílde\, and Pérez Prado\, among others. \nThis performance is part of the Drive-Through Theatre Experience series. \nTickets are non-refundable.
