Una historia alojada en algún lugar de la mente y el cuerpo durante 25 años. Ese espacio concreto e imaginario da cuerpo a un nuevo pensamiento estético sobre la intimidad\, el movimiento sutil\, las derivas de la memoria\, el vínculo con los otros\, nuestra presencia en el tiempo y la extraña forma que tenemos de habitar espacios afectivos en relación a lo desconocido. Objetos reconocidos en espacios reconocidos se resignifican y mutan a través de los cuerpos. \nABOUT THE PLAY\nInspired after a dream\, Todo Lo Que Está A Mi Lado tells a poetic story of a forgotten memory during childhood. Piedras preciosas juega a imaginar la relación de Cocteau con Manuel\, su aprendizaje mutuo y el especial cariño que se profesaron el uno al otro. La historia (en parte real\, casi toda soñada) que cuenta Piedras preciosas está inspirada en testimonios reales de vecinos de Marbella y en algunas piedras de la playa pintadas por Cocteau halladas en la casa del bailador… piedras preciosas. \nABOUT THE PLAY\nIn the 60s\, artist Jean Cocteau spent many years in Marbella fascinated by flamenco. DESCRIPTION:A collective creation from the classic play “Oedipus” by Sophocles / Creación colectiva a partir del clásico Edipo de Sófocles\nDirected by/ Dirigida por José Carlos García\nMARMORE – COMPANHIA DO CHAPITÔ\nLisboa\, Portugal \nSOBRE LA OBRA\nTodo el mundo conoce el mito de Edipo. Hijo de Layo y de Yocasta -Reyes de Tebas-\, fue abandonado al nacer en el Monte Citerón debido a las predicciones del oráculo\, quien afirmó que el hijo mataría al padre y se casaría con la madre. El niño fue recogido por unos pastores\, que lo llevaron a la Corte de Pólibo\, Rey de Corintio. Ya adulto\, consultó al Oráculo de Delfos\, porque dudaba sobre su auténtico origen\, y éste le recomendó que se alejara de su patria. Edipo inicia su viaje buscando escapar de un destino inexorable en el que será protagonista de parricidio\, incesto\, duelos con monstruos\, plagas y otras lindezas similares: rumbo al exilio\, se cruzó con Layo (a quien no conocía)\, discutieron y lo asesinó. Una vez en Tebas\, resolvió sin dificultad los enigmas que le planteó la Esfinge. Los tebanos\, agradecidos\, le concedieron por esposa a la viuda Yocasta (o sea\, su madre). Cuando la cruda verdad salió a la luz\, Yocasta se ahorcó\, Edipo se sacó los ojos\, y terminó sus días en Colono\, ciudad a la que fue llevado por su hija Antígona. Y toda esta terrible historia SE CUENTA DESDE LA HILARIDAD ABSOLUTA\, al estilo de la Companhia do Chapitô. \nABOUT THE PLAY\nA classic Greek tragedy starring Oedipus Rex\, the king of Thebes. In an effort to find out more about his origin\, Oedipus sets off on a journey in which he discovers a cruel truth. Hijo de Layo y de Yocasta -Reyes de Tebas-\, fue abandonado al nacer en el Monte Citerón debido a las predicciones del oráculo\, quien afirmó que el hijo mataría al padre y se casaría con la madre. El niño fue recogido por unos pastores\, que lo llevaron a la Corte de Pólibo\, Rey de Corintio. Ya adulto\, consultó al Oráculo de Delfos\, porque dudaba sobre su auténtico origen\, y éste le recomendó que se alejara de su patria. Edipo inicia su viaje buscando escapar de un destino inexorable en el que será protagonista de parricidio\, incesto\, duelos con monstruos\, plagas y otras lindezas similares: rumbo al exilio\, se cruzó con Layo (a quien no conocía)\, discutieron y lo asesinó. Una vez en Tebas\, resolvió sin dificultad los enigmas que le planteó la Esfinge. Los tebanos\, agradecidos\, le concedieron por esposa a la viuda Yocasta (o sea\, su madre). Cuando la cruda verdad salió a la luz\, Yocasta se ahorcó\, Edipo se sacó los ojos\, y terminó sus días en Colono\, ciudad a la que fue llevado por su hija Antígona. Y toda esta terrible historia SE CUENTA DESDE LA HILARIDAD ABSOLUTA\, al estilo de la Companhia do Chapitô. \nABOUT THE PLAY\nA classic Greek tragedy starring Oedipus Rex\, the king of Thebes. Los pájaros se adentrarán en las cabezas de los pequeños espectadores y allí harán su particular nido. Nidos es un espectáculo-árbol cargado de objetos y magia. El árbol y sus ramas\, el bosque y sus sonidos\, los pájaros y sus nidos nos han inspirado en este trabajo. Un nido es un lugar donde nace o se origina algo\, un lugar donde se ha vivido con los padres y durante la infancia. Una casa-cama donde duermen los huevos de las aves y se crían los polluelos. Los pájaros los fabrican en los sitios más insospechados pero nuestros Nidos estarán en un árbol muy particular. \nABOUT THE PLAY\nLet’s fly\, sing\, listen\, dance\, play and build a nest. The birds will enter the minds of the young audience and there make their nests. Nidos is a tree/show filled with objects and magic. The tree and its roots\, the forest and its sounds\, the birds and their nests have all inspired this work. A nest is a place where something is born or originates\, a place where one has lived with one’s parents during childhood\, a tree-bed where the eggs sleep and the chicks are raised.
